Deaf-blind learn to roller-skate
21 August 2015
People with simultaneous vision and hearing impairment learn to roller-skate under support of Deaf-blind Support Fund So-edinenie.
Experienced teachers of the Kirill Ryazantsev’s Roller School help deaf-blind students learn tricks to participate in the festival Healthy Moscow at Kuzminki park on August, 29.

Among new roller-skaters you can see men, women, young and old. Having attended only several lessons they’ve already felt vivid emotions, new power and now are ready to compete at the festival Healthy Moscow.

Sport activities are very important for deaf-blind people rehabilitation. Attending sport lessons supervisees of the Fund So-edinenie open the world for themselves, step out of their isolation, acquaint with new people, improve their health and give other people with disabilities an example.

Roller-skating is not the first activity deaf-blind people tried in our country. Under the Fund So-edinenie support they had lessons on mountain skiing, rock-climbing and became masters of sport table games.
